Description
These are young leaves of various sizes, harvested from the Zenjimaru Kaki tree, Japan's oldest sweet persimmon tree, in our home garden.
We dry them, steam them, dry them again, and roast them to make delicious persimmon leaf tea, which we enjoy every year.
Commercial teas are increasing in price.
Why not try making your own at home?
