Enkianthus perulatus
15 cuttings, approximately 20cm each
4th Class Mail

After hydration, cuttings will be treated with a rooting hormone, moisturized, and packaged.

This deciduous shrub bears bell-shaped white flowers resembling lily of the valley. In autumn, the leaves turn Momiji, dramatically changing the atmosphere. It suits both Western and Japanese styles and can also be enjoyed as cut flowers.

Enkianthus perulatus grows to about 2-5 meters tall, making it commonly used as a garden tree for hedges. It can also be grown in pots.

How to take cuttings:
Cut branches to 10-15cm lengths, leaving 1-2 leaves at the tip and removing others. Make a slanted cut at the base with a clean knife, soak in water for 1-2 hours, then insert the cuttings into seedling pots filled with Akadama soil (medium grain) or Kanuma soil (medium grain).
Water thoroughly and manage in semi-shade, watering to keep the soil from drying out.
