Made from high-temperature fired ceramic, these filter media are durable and resistant to powdering and crumbling.
The textured surface and internal porous structure provide ample space for beneficial bacteria to colonize. Nitrifying bacteria effectively break down ammonia from fish waste and uneaten food, and further decompose nitrite, a byproduct of this process, into less toxic nitrate. This biological filtration method removes harmful substances, stabilizing water quality and creating a healthy environment for your fish.

[Easy Layout]
The square rod shape maximizes space utilization and allows for easy arrangement. The grooves on the outer surface create gaps when the media are placed side-by-side, ensuring water flow even when densely packed. The large central hole is designed to prevent clogging.
