Manufacturer Description:

Creates slightly acidic water! Specially structured ceramic filter media!

Suitable for: Freshwater aquariums

Features:
This is a specially made ceramic ring filter media with pH maintenance capabilities.
This is the soft type. It maintains a slightly acidic pH, making it ideal for aquatic plants, tetras, and cichlids like Apistogramma.
The surface of the filter media is porous, providing excellent surface area for beneficial bacteria to colonize, resulting in high filtration efficiency.
The effective surface area for microbial colonization is approximately 60% of Power House (soft type), making it easier for microorganisms to establish.
When used in combination with soil-based substrates, it maximizes the effectiveness of the substrate.
This durable filter media is long-lasting and resistant to crushing, earning absolute trust from many hobbyists.
Designed for use in large filter systems with large quantities, the surface is smoother compared to the soft type.
