This is a letter opener made in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture. It is believed to be from the 1960s.
Although it is new and unused, it has been stored in a wooden sheath for a long time, resulting in some rust. However, it is perfectly usable as a letter opener.
This letter opener features a Japanese sword design, with beautiful ripple patterns. However, due to long-term storage, there is some rust on the tip of the blade.
