Thank you for viewing.

All are over 10 years old!

Please choose your favorite plant from the photos.

This is a potted Japanese rock fern (also known as rock pine) that my grandfather has been growing for many years near Osugi Mountain in Kawaminami Town, Miyazaki Prefecture.
These are decades-old mature plants, cultivated to a size that can be enjoyed in smaller pots.
[Origin and History]
?Japanese rock fern (rock pine) from the Osugi mountain range in Kawaminami Town, Koyu District, Miyazaki Prefecture.
?This is one of the plants that my grandfather collected from the mountains and cultivated in his garden for decades.
?Currently, it is potted and managed in a semi-shaded environment.
[Plant and Pot Condition]

?The plant has a well-developed root system and grows in a tree-like shape, with a bushy top.
?There are some color variations on the old leaves, as well as moss and dead leaves on the soil surface, but these are included as part of its character.
?If you are concerned, you can enjoy repotting or pruning it.
[Care Guide]
?Bright shade to semi-shade is ideal.
?Direct sunlight that is too strong may cause leaf burn.
?Water thoroughly when the surface of the soil dries out.
?Outdoor management with good ventilation is recommended.
?It is relatively hardy in winter, but protect it from frost in extremely cold regions.
[Shipping]
?It will be shipped as a potted plant via RakuRaku Mercari便 (easy Mercari shipping).
?It will be carefully packed with newspaper or other materials to secure it and prevent soil spillage.
?As this is a live plant, please understand that some leaves may break or soil may spill during transport.
The actual plant shown in the photos will be sent.
Recommended for those who want to enjoy the atmosphere of an old plant, or those looking for materials for Japanese gardens or bonsai-style arrangements.
