Description
This is a flower vase (suiban) for ikebana (Japanese flower arranging).
It has an irregular shape with a cutout in a circular design, and a swirling pattern relief on the outside. The inside is glazed in a celadon to blue-green hue, with crazing (a pattern of fine cracks in the glaze) visible throughout, creating a changing expression depending on the light.
[Condition]
As shown in the photos, there are variations in the glaze and crazing (these are considered part of the aesthetic).
No noticeable chips or major cracks are visible within the scope of the photos, but there is a possibility of oversight, so please check the images for the most accurate condition.
The box has age-related scuffs, dirt, and damage.
As this is a fragile item, it will be carefully packed and shipped.
