Please note: The purchase of any of my listed items for resale purposes and the unauthorized reproduction of product images are strictly prohibited.
As the plant is entering its growth period, its appearance may change from the images in a short period. As this is a living organism, we ask for your understanding.
This is an 8-year-old seedling of a Nasu Goyomatsu (Japanese White Pine) grown from seed. The height of the seedling itself is approximately 11.5 cm above ground, with a width of 16 cm. It has a beautiful form reminiscent of a Gale-ryu (coiled dragon) style, with a prominent long branch contrasting with a low-set crown. Wire has been applied to create a basic structure, and further adjustments will enhance its perfection. Please excuse any minor leaf damage. The wire is loosely applied, but please remove it before it bites into the bark. This variety is native to the Nasu mountain range in northern Tochigi Prefecture and is characterized by its beautiful, straight, light green needles. You will receive the exact individual shown in the photos (management number NGY-7233). Shipping will be via the 4th class postal service on weekdays only. While we will take great care to ensure adequate moisture during packing, please refrain from purchasing if you will have difficulty receiving the package for an extended period. Furthermore, please understand that we cannot offer discounts, as raising Goyomatsu seedlings from carefully selected seeds is challenging, including germination rates.
