Description

●Japanese Holly (Ilex rotunda)
The Japanese Holly is known as an auspicious tree that brings good fortune and success, as its name Kurogane Mochi sounds like Kurogane (hard metal, implying strength and value) and Mochi (rice cake, implying prosperity and abundance), which can be interpreted as no hardship, rich. It is treated as a lucky charm not only in Japan but also in China. Its popularity is also due to it being an evergreen tree that bears many red berries in winter.

*The seedling will be shipped bare-root, with the soil gently removed from the pot. The roots will be protected with a moisture-retaining cotton sheet and shipped in a special Yu-Packet Post box.
The branches and leaves may be gently and softly bent to fit into the special shipping box.
