AGY3123 Japanese White Pine Azuma Goe Matsu Pine Bonsai Mini Bonsai Bonsai Material

Please note: Resale of any items I list and unauthorized reproduction of product images and descriptions are strictly prohibited.

This is a seedling of Azuma GoYo Matsu, one of Japan's three major five-needle pines. Known as the pine of the Azuma mountain range in Fukushima Prefecture, it is widely recognized in the bonsai world for its delicate and elegant foliage. The seedling itself measures approximately 11cm from the soil line. The raised nebari (surface roots) and rugged trunk exude a wild charm, offering a unique appeal that can only be found in Azuma GoYo Matsu seedlings, not in grafted trees. The front of the tree displays a powerful posture, as if pulling its roots, while the back presents a gentle expression with its head resting on a curve, showcasing contrasting flow and movement like a Nio statue on both sides. Please remove the wiring before it bites into the bark. Azuma GoYo Matsu exhibits greater individual variation in needle length and color density compared to other five-needle pines, even within the same variety. Due to its slow root growth, repotting and handling require a certain degree of care. You will receive the exact individual shown in the photos (management number AGY-3123). Shipping will be via fourth-class mail on weekdays only. Please be aware that delivery to distant locations, such as north of Tohoku or south of Kyushu, may take approximately 5 weekdays. While we will take sufficient care with moisture during packing, please refrain from purchasing if you will have difficulty receiving the package for an extended period. Furthermore, please understand that we cannot offer discounts, as raising Azuma GoYo Matsu seedlings is not easy, from obtaining carefully selected seeds to their subsequent germination rate. The gardening tag and display stand shown in the images are for photographic purposes only and are not included with the product.
