Thank you for looking.

For a baby's delicate mouth, uncomfortable friction, sharp edges, or spoons that are too deep can cause them to dislike eating. We have found that spoons with a vertically elongated bowl shape, when inserted too far into the mouth, do not fit the depth of a baby's mouth, resulting in more gagging and food spillage.
As a solution, we have made the bowl shape round to gently fit the baby's lips. Polished with care at a factory in Tsubame City, Niigata Prefecture, these spoons with a rim have a smooth surface and excellent mouthfeel, and have been very well received for encouraging babies to eat willingly. The round, shallow, small bowl allows for the appropriate amount for a baby's bite-sized portion, and customers have expressed their delight at the reduction in food spillage.
