Leaves from sweet persimmon trees are cut one by one, disinfected with boiling water and well water (tested), and then soaked in coarse salt for 10 to 14 days, with three changes of water to remove bitterness and salt. Pests have been removed. Each leaf has been rinsed. The water used for rinsing is Murifood. The salt used is Ako salt.

★ All processing is complete, and the product will be shipped as is. You can use it immediately by placing it in your aquarium or tub.

★ Depending on the Momiji, leaves with reddish or yellowish hues may be mixed in with the images. Please understand. The size and type of leaves may also vary slightly. However, the nutritional content and components will not change, so please rest assured.

★ Persimmon leaves can be affected by leaf blight, a disease that causes mold to grow on the leaves. If moldy fallen persimmon leaves are used, they can infect medaka and potentially lead to the death of all your medaka during winter. Therefore, please absolutely do not use fallen leaves.
★ This is especially important for those raising fancy medaka!

★ Mold on fallen leaves cannot be removed even by soaking to remove bitterness.
