Description
Product Contents:
* 100g Dried Nandina
* 1 non-woven fabric bag (approx. 25x60cm) for boiling
* My treatment recipe

Harvested from my garden's Nandina after pruning in November 2024 and air-dried before listing.

Same-Day Shipping:
Orders paid by 3 PM will be shipped the same day, barring unforeseen circumstances.

Usage Concentration:
For treatment, use a 0.05% concentration (25g for 50L of water). Before introducing new koi to the pond, after salt baths, I use a 0.035% Nandina bath for about 5 days.

How to Use the Non-Woven Fabric:
Cut the non-woven fabric shown in Image 2 to the desired size, fold it in half, and staple it to form a bag (Image 4).
Place the required amount of Nandina inside, staple the opening shut, and boil.
The non-woven fabric can be reused.

Treatment Method:
My treatment method is attached. Nandina baths are also featured on many websites, including Takusushi.
While the basic principles are likely the same, the exact method may vary depending on the koi's condition and your treatment environment (equipment, available space, time you can dedicate to treatment, etc.).
It is best to refer to treatment methods that closely match your own environment for optimal results.

Introduction:
Image 5 shows my treatment tank.
The tank consists of a 100L round tub with an overhead filter, circulated by a GEX E-Loka PF-701 pump.
The black box on the right is a DIY temperature controller used to gradually raise the water temperature from near 5°C to 25°C during winter.
The last image shows dried Nandina floating in the pond for prevention after a previous outbreak of hole disease had subsided.
