Shizutake stone is a renowned subterranean stone, found around the Ashikubo River, a tributary of the Abe River in Shizuoka Prefecture, and is highly regarded alongside Kii's Furutani stone. It presents a beautiful landscape of connected mountains, reminiscent of Mt. Myoko, and is a natural stone with no artificial modifications above the base, except for the processing of the bottom (kutsu).
*The stone and base can be separated, but there are signs of adhesive. Please check the images.
