We offer Potassium Carbonate, essential for aquatic plant cultivation. Unlike nitrogen and phosphorus, potassium is not naturally produced in aquariums, so it needs to be replenished through water changes or supplementation.

When dissolved in water, potassium carbonate supplies potassium ions (K?). Potassium is one of the three major nutrients for aquatic plants and plays a role in improving the efficiency of photosynthesis, supporting the transport of nutrients and water within cells, and maintaining strong stems and leaves.

Potassium deficiency often manifests as yellowing along the edges of older leaves, holes, and stunted growth. Potassium carbonate is used to prevent these symptoms.

[How to make liquid fertilizer (standard concentration)]

- Prepare 500ml of dechlorinated water (boiled and cooled water).

- Dissolve 50g of this product. (This will create a 10% solution)
*Heat may be generated during dissolution, but this is normal. Please shake well to dissolve.

[Recommended dosage]
- Add approximately 1mL of the prepared liquid fertilizer daily per 20L of aquarium water.
*I store the solution in a DAISO bottle (1100mL) as shown in the photo and refill an empty ADA bottle for use. One push dispenses 1mL. If using the DAISO bottle as is, one push dispenses 5mL, so it needs to be diluted due to its concentration.
