Omi Ginger Seed Ginger
Omi ginger is a representative variety of large ginger. Its tubers grow large, reaching 500g to 1kg, and it is a late-maturing variety.
It has a pale yellow, glossy appearance and tender flesh. It has a refreshing aroma, is less spicy, and is easy to eat, making it widely usable for pickled ginger (gari) and as a condiment.
As a guideline, approximately 20 cases, or 20kg per tan (10a), can be planted. Please use this as a reference.
Although this is seed ginger, it can also be consumed.
