[Product Description]
This is a 20cm plate from the Otso series, manufactured by the renowned Finnish pottery ARABIA between 1975 and 1978. The form was designed by Ulla Procopé, a representative designer of ARABIA, and the decoration was handled by Gunvor Olin-Gr?nqvist. The plate features a calming ochre-like base color, beautifully accented with floral patterns primarily in brown and green, exuding a rustic charm and warmth characteristic of Nordic vintage.

Otso is known as a word meaning bear in Finnish mythology and old expressions. It signifies not just an animal but also reverence for forests and nature, and this series reflects a Nordic perspective on nature and a folkloric atmosphere.

The 20cm plate is a versatile size, perfect as a side plate, for breakfast, or for light meals, easily integrating into everyday dining. The central motif has a pleasant presence without being overly assertive, beautifully showcasing food or baked goods when placed on it. It's not overly flashy yet possesses a distinct personality, allowing you to enjoy the serene world of Otso with every use.
