Approximately 200 unselected seeds of Goldenberry, an edible physalis.
These seeds were extracted from fruits grown organically on our own farm.
As the seeds are unselected, they contain a significant amount of fruit peel and debris.

They have a sweet, sour, fruity, and tropical flavor.
This variety is large-fruited, with some fruits reaching the size of a 500-yen coin.
Harvest when the papery husk covering the fruit turns light brown and the fruit inside becomes orange.
Slightly unripe fruits can be eaten after ripening.
They are delicious eaten fresh, but since sweetness varies by individual plant,
I personally enjoy them as jam.

If you prune them before winter and they survive the cold,
new shoots will emerge from the base in spring.
The last photo shows shoots that emerged from the base in the fourth year.

We cannot guarantee that all seeds will germinate.
