【New】French Wooden Cheese Case (Fromagère) Fly Screen Antique

This is an authentic wooden cheese case (fromager) purchased directly from an overseas cheese specialty store.
The mesh on the sides provides good ventilation and is used to deliciously age and store cheese at room temperature.
In Japan, this design is very popular, similar to a haicho (a traditional Japanese food safe), for temporary storage of sweets and fruits, as well as for use as a spice box for camping or as interior decor.
The top features the FROMAGER logo and charming illustrations of cheese and animals, adding a French country atmosphere just by placing it in your kitchen.

I am listing this item because it was never used.
