These are incredibly delicious when eaten as edamame. I've tried many kinds of edamame, but these are by far the sweetest. The beans are also large and satisfying!
They are a late-maturing variety, so it takes time from planting to harvest, but they are so delicious they make up for the wait (^ ^). After harvesting as soybeans, they are also great for hitashi mame, a cooking method where you soak them in dashi broth.
