Our Bizen ware begins with crushing Bizen clay.
It is not fired in electric, gas, or kerosene kilns.
Instead, once a year, for approximately two weeks, the kiln is continuously fired at temperatures around 1200 degrees Celsius at the kiln site, allowing it to slowly harden.
After being removed from the kiln after 10 days, it is lightly polished, hand-washed, and undergoes a water leakage test before shipment.
We hope you will enjoy the unique texture of Bizen ware, both to see and to touch, as well as the changes it undergoes with continued use.
● Regarding new products
The next planned sale is scheduled for January or later.
Please consider your purchase early.

Bizen clay is said to make coffee and other beverages more aromatic and smooth.
Bizen ware has the effect of making flowers last longer when placed in a vase! It is also said to help maintain water quality when placed in aquariums!
