These are heirloom soybeans, variety Fukuyutaka, grown on a farm using natural farming methods without pesticides or fertilizers. The seeds were self-collected.

Fukuyutaka is not a genetically modified variety.
They grow easily just by planting them in the soil, even without fertilizer.
★ Because no fertilizer was used, the beans are small.
If you want plump beans and a higher yield, it is better to use fertilizer.
(I grow them without pesticides or fertilizers because I only need enough for my family to eat.)
