Product: Mucuna Beans (20 beans: 10 white, 10 speckled)
These beans were harvested from plants that ripened to black, as shown in the photos, between November of Reiwa 7 (2025) and January of Reiwa 8 (2026). They have been sun-dried.
When dried thoroughly, the beans shrink slightly. They are naturally grown without any pesticides or herbicides.
The germination rate is very high.
The photos are of a sample, but we will select the best-grown beans and ship them via 4th class mail.
Below is a reference based on our experience growing three types of Mucuna beans at Kimotsuki Farm:
The white variety is the largest. The speckled variety is less prone to mold. The black variety did not grow well, perhaps not suited for Kagoshima. Therefore, we did not list the black Mucuna beans. This is specific to our farm, and experiences may differ elsewhere.
