This is a non-heading black cabbage native to the Tuscany region of Italy.

It has a sweet and savory flavor, and compared to its relative, kale, it offers a deeper taste.
It has antioxidant and nutritional content comparable to kale, and is several times higher in Vitamin C and antioxidant power than cabbage, making it one of the top vegetables in terms of nutrition.

Its firm fibers make it suitable for cooked dishes such as stews and stir-fries.

It is highly cold-tolerant, continues to grow even in winter, and can be harvested continuously.
I discovered this vegetable while looking for something to eat during the winter.

March-June, September-October
Germination Temperature: 15-20 degrees Celsius

Sow directly (about 1 cm deep in the topsoil, 50-60 cm apart) or sow about 3 seeds per pot.
Thin seedlings when true leaves appear. For pots, transplant one seedling every 50-60 cm when they have 4-5 true leaves.
Harvesting is best from 80-90 days after sowing. Harvest outer leaves sequentially from the base when they reach a diameter of 30-40 cm, allowing for a long harvest period.
