Product Description
[Aquarium Supplies - Substrate]
● Pure Black's micro-pores on its surface remove floating matter in the water, suppressing algae growth and keeping aquarium water crystal clear for extended periods.
● With high porosity and a large surface area, it facilitates the formation of biofilm, providing effective biological filtration in addition to physical filtration.
● Pure Black is lighter than general gravel but is made of a material that is resistant to crumbling. Therefore, it is gentle on plant roots, promotes better root growth, and keeps aquatic plants vibrant. For even greater effect, laying GEX Aquatic Plant Sand on top of Pure Black is recommended.
● It stabilizes pH quickly, leading to a smoother water cycle after setup.
● It functions effectively as a filter medium, not just as a substrate for the aquarium.
