Spicy chili seeds, mini bell peppers (4.5 cm)

★ Seriously Spicy Chili Peppers

I bought a seedling for 278 yen to make yuzu pepper and grew it myself.
They are thick and large, my favorites.

When drying in the sun,
if you dry them whole, because they are thick,
the inside steams and most of them get moldy.

Although the appearance will be worse, cutting them into pieces before drying results in fewer failures.

Please store them in a cool place until completely dry. I learned through repeated failures, like moving them indoors for a few days to protect them from rain, only to have mold grow again.

You can harvest a lot until the first frost, so please try various things.
Second batch of yuzu pepper with frozen ripe yuzu.

Both are from the Solanaceae family.

Sowing: March-April
Germination temperature: 20-30°C
Germination days: 7-14 days

I sow them in pots in my living room from late February to around March.
In warmer regions, even if you sow them after it gets warmer, they grow quickly and you can harvest until the first frost.

★ Mini Bell Peppers (4.5cm)

Sowing: Late February - Late March
Germination temperature: 25-30°C
Germination takes more than 10 days.
Do not let the soil dry out until germination.

You can harvest a large amount of both.

Although I am an amateur, I have succeeded with chili peppers and mini bell peppers every year.
They were hardly affected by the extreme heat.

?? Can be substituted with other seeds.
