Sowing:
Sow from early May to mid-June. Direct sow or start seedlings and transplant.
Raising Seedlings:
Maintain a temperature of 20℃ or higher and raise seedlings in poly pots. Thin when the first true leaves appear (2-3 leaves), and transplant when there are 3-4 leaves.
Location:
Choose a location with good sunlight, ventilation, and drainage. Ensure there is enough space for the vines to grow and be supported.
Crop Rotation:
Avoid planting in areas where legumes were grown the previous year.
Soil Preparation:
Apply dolomitic lime 2 weeks before transplanting, and apply well-rotted compost and organic fertilizer 1 week before transplanting.
