The sleeves and body lining are clean with no stains and dry quickly. The outer fabric will be used as a light cover on hot summer nights.

I was having trouble with storage space, so a few years ago, on hot summer nights when sleeping under the air conditioner, bath towels were too cold on my shoulders and feet, and towel blankets were too hot and I'd kick them off. I made one from yukata fabric and it was comfortable. I made five for my son's family and they were well-received. I made this from sleepwear that was stored away and taking up space at my in-laws' house, even though it wasn't being used.

When I took it out, I found it was sewn by machine and had gauze or something attached to the back, making it incredibly difficult to undo by hand or sew. However, machine sewing results in a stiff finish, so I was particular about hand-sewing it. These are dishcloths, etc., sewn with the thin lining that was removed during that process.

I gave five of them to a friend in the same apartment building who is a great cook, and she was delighted, saying, Amazing and convenient! and Dries quickly! I plan to give her more, but I seem to have made quite a few, so I'm listing them for anyone who would like to use them...

Since it's made from tenugui (hand towels), it's soft.

The size varies depending on the part used (front body, sleeves, etc.). I've placed a newspaper for size reference.
