Sowing method:
Since it has a taproot, avoid transplanting. Sow 3-4 seeds about 30cm apart, covering them with a very thin layer of soil. Gently press the soil with your hands, then water gently so the seeds don't wash away. Keep the soil moist until germination.
It cross-pollinates easily with nearby fennel.
When dill grows to about 20cm, pinch off the tips of the new shoots to encourage branching and increase yield.
