Product Description
These are ring-shaped filter media made of ceramic, characterized by their high durability and resistance to cracking during cleaning. They provide excellent colonization for beneficial bacteria. As physical filter media, their ring shape prevents clogging, allowing for longer cleaning intervals. Furthermore, they do not affect the water's pH or hardness, making them safe for fish species sensitive to water quality.
- They do not crumble when washed and do not generate large amounts of powder that can cause motor or impeller failure.
- Since they do not affect water quality, they can be used in alkaline water conditions when combined with coral sand, or in weakly acidic water conditions when combined with Eheim Tuff.
- Suitable for both freshwater and saltwater aquariums.
