Bletilla striata (Shiran)
Rooted seedlings
We will pack as many as fit into a Yu-Packet Plus box.
More than 30 plants will fit.
*Sizes vary.
Long roots will be trimmed before packing.
They are stored buried in the soil until purchase to prevent drying out.
~Reference~
They have multiplied, so after flowering, they were dug up once.
The leaves have been cut.
The parent plant also has new bulbs.
*See 3rd image.
*The rhizome of Bletilla striata has flattened, spherical pseudobulbs (underground bulbs/bulbs) that grow in a chain near the surface, storing nutrients and producing new shoots and flower stalks every year.
The root system is shallow, so there's no need to dig deep, making planting easy.
Easy and perfect for beginners!
They will produce many flowers next year (*^^*)
Thank you for your understanding of the above. m(__)m
