Veronica Oxford Blue * (bare root)

It is often planted as a ground cover.
The blue flowers and the gentle branches extending from the copper leaves are very beautiful.
At this time of year, green new shoots are growing rapidly.

Many small flowers, about 1cm in size, bloom, and it is very beautiful when in full bloom.

It spreads horizontally, and roots grow from the nodes that touch the soil, making division easy.

This is a plant that was propagated by cuttings from pruned branches after the flowers finished, and if you prune it back, it will bloom a second time.

If you are looking for this plant, please consider it.

??The plant will be removed from the pot, with as much soil as possible left on the roots, and then wrapped and shipped with moisture retention. It will primarily be sent via Nekoposu.

Veronica 'Oxford Blue' is a creeping, cold-hardy, evergreen perennial that blooms with small, deep blue-purple flowers like a carpet in spring. Also known as 'Georgia Blue', it is a robust ground cover plant that can be enjoyed as a year-round colorful foliage plant because its leaves turn Momiji to a coppery color in winter.

Features and Appeal: Flowers and Leaves: From April to May (June depending on the region), about 1cm blue flowers bloom in a carpet-like fashion. In winter, the leaves turn Momiji to a coppery color, and in spring, they change to bright green leaves.

Uses: Ground cover, weed suppression.

Hardiness: Very cold-hardy, relatively few pests and diseases, easy to grow even if left in the ground.

Cultivation Tips: Sunlight and Location: Prefers sunny, well-ventilated, and well-draining locations.

Watering: Prefers to be kept on the dry side and dislikes excessive moisture.

Soil: Fertile, well-draining soil.

Care: Pruning (cutting back) before the rainy season (after flowering) to improve air circulation will prevent stuffiness and allow you to enjoy a second bloom.
