New Zealand Flax Copper Leaf Large Ornamental Grass Dry Garden

Thank you for looking.

This is a copper-leafed New Zealand flax, a cold-hardy perennial.
The parent plant has leaves about 200 cm long.

It is a hardy plant.
All you need to do is cut off any dead leaves at the base of the plant when you notice them.

My garden is organic; I do not use any fertilizers or pesticides.
The parent plant has been grown for over 10 years.
As the years go by, the leaves will become about 5 to 7 cm wide.
It will have a graceful appearance, and the copper leaf color will be even more vibrant in the summer.

Plant in a location with full sun to partial shade.
The leaves grow radially, so a spacious location is recommended.
A well-draining location is ideal.

Image 2 shows New Zealand flax (copper leaf), variegated lilyturf, and daffodil leaves.
Image 3 shows a placemat made from cut leaves.
The leaf color in images 1 to 3 is from March.

The plant being offered was divided on May 2nd.
The leaves were cut to promote root establishment.
The plant will be sent in a Yu-Packet with its roots moisturized, as shown in image 7.

* For potted plants purchased in the past with leaves attached, we have also grown them for several months after cutting the leaves before offering them for sale.
