Pennisetum 'Black Beauty' 9cm Pot | Perennial, Overwintering Plant

We deliver plants grown on a mountainside (approx. 180m above sea level) as seedlings.
This is part of our Buraibana no Nae (Wildflower Seedling) series.

These are seedlings of Penstemon 'Black Beauty', which have started to grow with the arrival of spring.

This grass is attractive for its softly swaying plumes and dark, blackish color.
Its appearance changes with the light and wind, adding a quiet presence to your garden or pots.

These seedlings are from overwintered plants that we cultivated ourselves.
They are plants that have survived the winter in Hokkaido at an altitude of approximately 180m.
They have grown into strong plants due to being cultivated in a well-ventilated environment.

We will deliver the seedlings grown in 9cm pots, as they are in their pots.
As the roots are well-established, we will ship them in a way that minimizes stress to the plant.

Photos 1 and 2 show the current condition of the plants.
As plants grow daily, their condition may change slightly by the time they are delivered.

Currently in the early stages of growth, there are individual differences in the number and size of leaves.
As they grow, the plumes will emerge, and their appearance will become more pronounced.

*The tips of the leaves may be lightly trimmed for packaging purposes.
*We plan to ship via the 4th Class postal service.
*During Golden Week, delivery may take longer depending on shipping conditions.

This plant can be enjoyed both in the garden and in pots.
Please try growing it and enjoy watching it change with the seasons.
