Description
★Shipped with fruit on the tree.★

Lisbon is a relatively cold-hardy variety and is the mainstream variety in Japan. The tree shape is slightly upright, with weak productivity and weak four-season blooming, producing more fruit in autumn. It is self-pollinating, so it will bear fruit with just one tree. It can be grown in the garden or in pots. It can overwinter outdoors in locations that do not drop below -3°C. Harvest the fruit while it is still green and place it in a dark place to develop a beautiful lemon color.

Type: Semi-cold hardy evergreen tree
Planting period: Mid-October to late May
Harvest period: October to late January
Sunlight: Full sun

Cultivation method:
Plant in a sunny location with plenty of leaf mold incorporated into the soil. Apply organic fertilizer around the base of the tree in March and late September. Prune at the beginning of March, just as the buds begin to move.
It can overwinter outdoors in gardens on the Pacific side south of the Kanto region. In winter, protect the base of the tree with straw or other mulch for insulation.
In colder regions, plant in pots and place them near a sunny window indoors during winter.
Please note that trees planted in the ground tend to grow more vigorously, and it may take several years for the tree to grow before it starts bearing fruit, as nutrients will be directed towards growth.

The seedling in the photo will be sent with the soil lightly removed, using the 4th class postal service.
If you wish to change to Mercari delivery, it is possible for an additional 500 yen (pot not included).
