Pesticide-free, thick trunk!! 2nd year loquat seedling

Pesticide-Free
Thick Trunk!!
2-Year-Old Loquat Sapling

Photo 2 shows the item for sale.
The trunk is thick and growing straight up.
It measures 10cm from the bottom of the pot to the base of the leaves, and 33cm to the leaf tips.

If you transplant it directly into your garden, I believe it will grow vigorously.

This is a seedling grown from the seed of a parent tree that produced extra-large loquats from Awaji Island.

(How to Grow Loquat Saplings)
Loquat saplings are relatively hardy and will grow naturally.

Fruiting will occur in about 3 years. Each cluster will bear about 10 fruits, but to grow larger fruits, the key is to thin them out to 2-3 fruits.
(Don't be greedy. Decisiveness is important.)

To protect against birds, covering each cluster with a paper bag will provide extra security.

To prevent the parent tree from growing too tall, it is also important to prune it decisively so that sunlight can reach the leaves sufficiently.

Loquats can be eaten as is, or made into delicious loquat jam. You can also dry the leaves to make loquat tea. Loquat tea is delicious!
