◎ Produces abundant, large, orange berries, more so than varieties like Joy Gold or Wonder Yellow.

◎ Everbearing Raspberry
This is a rare type of raspberry that is not often found on the market (???????).
It was recently divided from the parent plant in our field.
Considering the stress of shipping, it is recommended to let the roots grow for a while without repotting.

Tree height 1-1.5m. If planted in the ground, it will grow vigorously in 2-3 years, requiring stakes.
It has very strong growth, and propagates through shoots (new growth from the base of the plant) and suckers (new growth appearing 1-2m away from the base of the plant).
The branches will droop under the weight of the fruit, so support with stakes or thin strings is necessary.

Based on my approximately 3 years of cultivation experience, it is cold-hardy but weak against direct summer sunlight, so partial shade or a shade net is preferable.
Also, the roots are shallow, so mulching to prevent drying is necessary (Aichi Prefecture) ← My personal opinion.

It sheds its leaves and goes dormant around the end of November.
During this dormant period (until February), it is propagated by transplanting shoots and suckers.

Lifecycle of an Everbearing Raspberry:
① Spring → Blooms and fruits on last year's dormant plant → This plant withers after fruiting.
② Spring to Summer → Shoots and suckers sprout → These shoots and suckers bloom and fruit in late summer. They then shed their leaves and become dormant plants.
This dormant plant will bloom and fruit for a second time next spring → and then wither → This is how the generations change.

The soil is better with organic compost, but it doesn't seem to be particularly picky.
