Chewy Corn 10 Seedlings Multi-color / Mochi Millet Corn / Tokibi

Product Description
A native variety of corn from Kumamoto Prefecture, Kyushu.

Also known as toukibi, mochi-kibi, or toomokoroshi.

Its simple, chewy texture, unlike the overly sweet varieties of today, is addictive.

- I am growing this native variety, which I obtained from a friend in Kumamoto Prefecture, because they wanted to taste it again after having eaten it in the past.

Other

- My family has been farmers for generations, going back to my grandfather. My father was a part-time farmer until he retired.
- To avoid causing trouble for neighboring farmers if the land becomes abandoned, I manage the farmland for about an hour a day when I have time, as a way to prevent weeds. I grow vegetables in my own way.
- I started growing vegetables without knowing how to use pesticides or chemical fertilizers, and I am still not researching how to use them.
- I am now enjoying gardening with companion planting, intercropping, and beneficial insect utilization!
