Kyoto Prefecture Grown Kujo Leeks - 60 Seedlings - Organic
This is the indigo-black variety of Kujo leeks, with dark green leaves, thick stems, and flexible leaf blades and sheaths. They have excellent flavor and a rich aroma.
They grow to about 60cm tall and divide into 4-5 shoots.
They are highly resistant to heat and cold, continue to grow without dormancy even in winter, are best suited for harvesting from October to March, and yield abundantly.
For use as green onions, their vigorous growth and dark green color allow for year-round cultivation.
You can plant them directly, spaced 5cm apart.
They are ready for immediate transplanting. After planting, you can harvest them by leaving about 5cm of the plant, and you can harvest multiple times.
