《Same-Day Shipping》
To ensure delivery as quickly as possible, orders paid for by 4 PM will be shipped the same day.
Previously, when I introduced new koi to my pond, the existing koi were nearly wiped out by hole disease.
I learned about dried Nandina after that and am offering this product to help those who are also struggling with hole disease.
《Usage Concentration》
For treatment, use a concentration of 0.05% (25g per 50L of water). Before introducing new koi to the pond, I perform a Nandina bath for about 5 days at a concentration of 0.035% as a preventative measure after salt baths.
《How to Use the Non-Woven Fabric》
Cut the non-woven fabric (shown in image 2) to the desired size, fold it in half, and staple it to form a bag (image 4).
Place the required amount of Nandina inside, staple the opening shut, and boil.
The non-woven fabric can be reused.
《Treatment Method》
I will attach my treatment method. Nandina baths are also featured on many websites, such as Taku Sushi Group, and on YouTube.
The basic method is likely the same, but the specific approach may vary slightly depending on the koi's condition and your treatment environment (equipment you have, space available for treatment, time you can dedicate to treatment, etc.).
It is best to refer to treatment methods that are similar to your own environment and adapt them accordingly.
《Introduction》
Although I no longer use it, I'd like to introduce my treatment tank (image 5).
This tank is a 100L round tub with an overhead filter. However, the gap between the water surface and the filter was large, and the original pump had low pumping capacity. I now use a GEX E-LOKA PF-701 pump for circulation filtration.
The black box on the right is a self-made temperature controller that gradually raises the water temperature from around 5°C to 25°C during winter.
This controller can set temperatures in the range of -40°C to 100°C and is very useful for various purposes beyond just treatment.
The last image shows dried Nandina floating in the pond for prevention after a past outbreak of hole disease had subsided.
