These are green onion seedlings sown in spring.
We sowed a large amount this year as well, so we would be happy if someone would grow them! ( ′ ▽ ` )ノ
We staggered the growth of the seedlings, so we have enough to ship until around June.
In Nagano Prefecture, a cold region, fall sowing is common, but spring sowing is said to be less prone to rust disease, so we grow them with care for spring sowing.
They are softer and sweeter than the green onions you see in supermarkets, and when heated, they have a melt-in-your-mouth texture, making them perfect for hot pot dishes! ?
They have not been disinfected, so you can enjoy them immediately as a garnish or condiment.
