These are shiso seedlings, grown organically for over 10 years.
The sizes will vary, but we will include at least 20 seedlings, plus a few extra just in case.

They grow so large every year that we can't eat them all.
They are convenient for summer somen noodles and shiso pasta,
and can also be used as a decorative garnish in bento boxes, acting as a natural preservative.
There are many ways to use them, and they are highly nutritious, rich in Vitamin A, and can be expected to boost immunity.
At the end of summer, you can harvest the shiso seeds and make tsukudani (simmered seasoned food).
It's very delicious!

[About the seedlings]
These sprouted from seeds that scattered from last year's plants.
They will be a mix of larger and smaller than the ones in the photos,
but we select them based on whether they have true leaves, so please understand.
There may be some leaves with insect damage, but we hope you will accept this as proof of our safe and secure cultivation.
They will generally be about 5-10 cm long.

[About shipping]
Since young seedlings are sensitive to drying out, we will pull them from the ground just before shipping, leave a little soil attached, moisturize them thoroughly, and pack them in a box.
Therefore, there is a possibility that weeds or insects may be mixed in,
but please understand that this is because they are grown in nutrient-rich soil without pesticides.
We will ship them via Nekoposu, which offers next-day delivery in most areas, by dropping them off at a Yamato Transport service center.
Due to the added moisture, they can be damaged if left in a sunny mailbox for an extended period.
Please pick up your package as soon as possible after it arrives.
