2 Yacon Seedlings
10.00 $
Description
This is a set of 2 Yacon seedlings. The large leaves have been cut in half to prevent wilting until the roots establish.
Yacon looks similar to sweet potatoes.
When eaten raw, it has a crisp texture like a pear and a subtle sweetness from oligosaccharides, earning it the nickname field pear.
Even when cooked, it retains a juicy texture like fruit and is delicious when prepared as kinpira (a Japanese stir-fry).
