Sold as a needle board.
Used for 3 years during my sewing school days in the mid-1970s and then stored in its box.
This is a Showa-era retro item, stored at home.
It shows signs of use, but the needles are still in good condition.
It was stored in the condition shown in photo 3.
I believe it is still fully usable.
