Thanks to your support, our sheep grass has been welcomed into many homes through various platforms. The seedlings that sprouted from fallen seeds have grown vigorously.

As we wait for them to grow, listings will be irregular.
The price will increase as they grow larger, so those who wish to try them at a lower price should act quickly.

This rootstock sprouted last year or the year before.
It has long roots, both submerged and emergent leaves, and new shoots are emerging.
At this size, it cannot grow without being planted in soil.
Please prepare soil separately when purchasing.

Mizukusa (sheep grass) is the perfect size for a medaka (killifish) tank, and when it grows larger, it produces delicate white flowers in the summer.
It's ideal for those who like small water lilies.
The flowers will likely appear next year, but if conditions are favorable, flower buds may appear in late autumn.

Our farm is in a warm region, and flowering continued until late November last season.
After overwintering with flower buds, flowering began again in late March this season.

The product is grown from seeds of last year's flowers, germinated and grown in the same environment as the original plant.
As there are no aquatic creatures in the tank, there are no snail infestations.
There may be some algae or other substances that could not be completely removed.

The photos up to the 4th image show flowers that bloomed in our home this year.
The seedling you will receive is one rootstock of similar size to the seedlings shown in the 5th image and beyond.

~About Mizukusa~
This is a native species of water lily that grows wild in small ponds.
Recently, the number of natural habitats has decreased, and their numbers have drastically declined.

The leaves are small, about 7-8 cm, but they provide a good hiding place for medaka in our water lily pots.

As it is a native species, it is more cold-hardy compared to regular water lilies.
As long as there is sufficient water depth from the base of the plant to the water surface, it can overwinter even if the surface of the pot freezes.
