Laglandra Meeboldii Red

Lagenandra meeboldii 'Red'
Lagenandra meeboldii 'Red'

This plant has been carefully managed and grown in the same environment as the Cryptocoryne and other plants I have listed previously.
Personally, this is a Lagenandra that first captivated me with its coolness and holds a special place in my heart.

■ Detail
Leaf Characteristics: It develops very sophisticated and beautiful leaves with a unique sheen, appearing somewhere between purple and brown.
Condition: After a considerably long acclimatization period, it has finally begun to root and sprout new leaves. Initially, I felt it was a somewhat temperamental variety, but once it established strong roots, it started vigorously producing new leaves.

■ Size and Future Care
In my environment, I prioritized root establishment and deliberately grew it in a tightly packed setting. As a result, compared to other plants of the same variety, the leaves are relatively compact and well-defined.
Additionally, I have trimmed the runaway roots (roots protruding from the pot) of this product once, and due to this, it is now actively sending out healthy roots even to the surface.
If I notice any further runaway roots during my ongoing care, I plan to repot it into a slightly larger container and switch to cultivation aimed at gigantification.

For those who wish to use it in layouts at its current compact size, or for those who want to grow it large themselves, please purchase it now.
