This is an incense burner set purchased at a Six Senses hotel in Nha Trang, Vietnam, part of the global luxury hotel group Six Senses.
It is designed to gently spread fragrance by lighting a fire at the bottom and placing water and aroma oil in the upper vessel to warm it. The appeal lies in its calm texture unique to ceramics and its simple, sophisticated design characteristic of Six Senses.
The included small ceramic piece can be used as an incense holder for stick incense. You can enjoy both aroma oils and incense by changing the combination according to your needs.
This item was purchased about 20 years ago during a trip. While there are some signs of use and aging, there are no cracks or chips, and it is in a condition that can be enjoyed as part of its character.
