This product is designed based on the Iro-e Kakiemon Flower and Bird Motif Covered Dish (Edo Period) from our museum's collection.
This covered dish is known as a representative work of early Kakiemon, when colored porcelain began to be fired in Japan.
The design is a typical Kakiemon style, featuring chrysanthemums and peonies depicted around a Taihu rock where two birds are perched.
At the MOA Museum, we aim to create a rich living environment full of artistry by making art easily accessible in everyday life through reproductions of our collection.
