Unnan Hyakuyaku no Chō (Okinawan Spinach)

Calcium, folic acid, copper, iron,
Vitamin A, and many others.

It is said to be good for kidneys, mucous membranes of the eyes, anemia, allergies,
constipation, osteoporosis, stomach ulcers, high blood pressure, and more.

When lightly heated, the texture is similar to wakame seaweed.
It can be used in stir-fries, donburi bowls,
okonomiyaki, blanched dishes, soups, and more.
It grows abundantly, so it's convenient when you're out of vegetables.

Giving it occasional fertilizer like Hyponex will result in larger leaves.

It grows until early winter.
In winter, it produces bulbils (tuber-like growths). In early spring, when new shoots emerge, you can plant them or
soak them in water until roots appear, then plant them.
Even withered-looking vines will sprout new shoots, so please do not pull them out.

It is a very resilient plant and easy to grow.

We will ship freshly dug seedlings via Mercari delivery service upon receiving your order.

It is also good for creating a green curtain.
