These were grown in a home garden by an amateur.
As they are plants, their condition may change during shipping. We often include extra, so please purchase with an understanding heart.

These are seeds for chives and perilla, grown organically without pesticides for over 20 years.

Chive seedlings: 3 sprouts (number of sprouts, not number of plants)
Green perilla seedlings: 3 plants + 2 extra seedlings

Chives are thin at first, but they thicken with repeated harvesting. They multiply abundantly every year!
You can harvest them many times!
They are delicious stir-fried, blanched, or as chive soy sauce (^^)

Green perilla grows large every year. It's great for somen noodles, perilla pesto, or as a preservative in bento boxes instead of decorative picks. It's also highly nutritious.
At the end of summer, you can harvest the perilla seeds and make tsukudani (simmered seaweed). It's very delicious ?

Both are relatively easy to grow.
They are fine in planters too.
They sprout every year from fallen seeds, so they multiply quickly, making them suitable vegetables for home gardens.
